Summary
The presentation will examine the harmful impact of trauma to the brain's development and subsequent mental health functioning. It will outline how the brain functions normally and what trauma can do to derail brain development.
Description
This webinar session is part of a series and will explore the impact of traumatic stress to mental health. Through the use of case examples and didactic presentation the emotional, relational, and psychological impact to functioning of trauma on mental health will be explored. Additionally, through a trauma lens, the etiology of depression, ADHD, anxiety, and other disorders will be explored.
