Advocates for Mental Health of MI Youth Advocacy Update

Join us as the Co-Founders of Advocates for Mental Health of MI Youth talk with MHAM CEO and President Marianne Huff, LMSW, about current mental health challenges. They will discuss some of the issues Michigan is facing from the perspective of parents. Topics will include the growth of their group in the last year, mental health parity efforts, and concerns about lack of appropriate treatment and how this leads to the criminalization of children or puts parents in the position to consider termination of their rights to get the help that they need.
